Aurora
Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is a Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15, 2015, and received great reviews from both music bloggers and the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Katy Perry shared a tweet in which Perry announced her new song Runaway. Make it a special day. Aurora Aksnes' earliest memory of music is finding an old grand piano hidden in the attic. She was fascinated by what it could do. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not as work or for a passion and as a way to develop. She began to write writing her own songs. She credits Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as being her influences. After her mom told her that her songs could not only help her gain fame, but also make others see their significance in the world and realize the possibilities for the songs, she decided to begin performing publicly. She began playing the piano at age six and writing music at age nine. This was not known by her family until she turned fourteen. It was never a dream to be Aurora. She claims that she enjoys creating songs. To her music, it is the best way to express anything.
